The Wavetel WR575 5G industrial router, serving as an in-vehicle smart gateway, enables real-time fleet scheduling and end-to-end visibility across the entire supply chain.

• Positioning signal loss occurs frequently in complex environments.

• Single-operator SIM cards are susceptible to signal blind spots or network failures.

• Data reporting delays or reliance on manual reporting prevents dynamic route adjustment, impacting delivery efficiency.

• Inability to remotely monitor fuel consumption, driving behavior, and door status makes it difficult to predict accident risks.

Solution:

• Independent GNSS Module

  Supporting joint positioning across GPS, BeiDou, GLONASS, and Galileo, the standalone GNSS module provides better signal reception and greater stability.

• Offline Data Caching

  In regions with weak cellular signal and limited connectivity, the WR575 stores NMEA data locally and automatically syncs it once the connection is restored, ensuring no trip data is lost. Vehicle status is also reported periodically over HTTPS for secure and complete data transmission.

• Dual SIM Redundancy

  With a dual SIM failover design, the WR575 automatically switches to a backup carrier when the primary connection drops, significantly reducing the risk of losing connectivity. It supports 5G/4G/3G multi-mode fallback, so when 5G coverage is unavailable in certain areas, the device seamlessly falls back to 4G or 3G to keep the vehicle online throughout the journey.
