What local-network connections does WR575 provide?
WR575 provides four Gigabit Ethernet ports and Wi-Fi 6 AX1800, alongside its sub-6 GHz 5G SA and NSA cellular connection. Wi-Fi link ratings do not guarantee equivalent Internet throughput.
Can WR575 connect to RS232 and RS485 equipment?
Yes. WR575 supports one RS232 port and one RS485 port, plus seven digital inputs, two digital outputs, one analog input and one relay. Check each device's protocol and wiring requirements during integration.
How should WR575 be powered?
WR575 can receive power through its four-pin Molex DC connector or an active PoE connection. Its PoE PD interface receives power from a compatible supply; it does not supply power to downstream PoE devices. Check the ordered unit’s power requirements before installation.
Can WR575 switch to cellular if its Ethernet WAN fails?
Yes. WR575 supports failover between Ethernet WAN and cellular WAN. Configure the primary and backup connections and the failure-detection policy for your deployment. Existing sessions may need to reconnect when the WAN changes.
Can WR575 support VPN access and industrial data communication?
Yes. WR575 supports WireGuard, OpenVPN and IPsec for VPN access, as well as Modbus TCP client/server and MQTT broker, publisher and gateway functions. Configure VPN routing and the required device data mapping for your application.
