Does WR153 support 5G RedCap?

Yes. WR153 supports 5G RedCap on 5G SA networks and also works with 4G LTE. Your operator must support RedCap on the bands used by your model.

Can WR153 connect to Ethernet and serial devices?

Yes. WR153 has two Ethernet ports and one RS232 or RS485 serial port, depending on the model you choose.

How is WR153 powered?

Use the two-pin DC terminal or a compatible passive PoE supply. The PoE port powers the router; it does not power connected devices.

Can WR153 switch to cellular if Ethernet fails?

Yes. With WAN failover configured, WR153 can switch to cellular when Ethernet WAN fails. Active sessions may need to reconnect.

Which VPN and industrial protocols does WR153 support?
