How does WR677 differ from WR677-D and WR677-M?
Does WR677 support 2.5 Gigabit Ethernet and fiber connections?
WR677 supports one 2.5 Gigabit Ethernet port, four Gigabit Ethernet ports and one SFP port. It also provides Wi-Fi 6 AX3000. Confirm the required SFP module and link compatibility before installation.
How should WR677 be powered?
WR677 can receive power through its four-pin Molex DC connector or an active PoE connection. Its PoE PD interface receives power from a compatible supply; it does not supply power to downstream PoE devices. Check the ordered unit’s power requirements before installation.
Can WR677 switch to cellular if its Ethernet WAN fails?
Yes. WR677 supports failover between Ethernet WAN and cellular WAN. Configure the primary and backup connections and the failure-detection policy for your deployment. Existing sessions may need to reconnect when the WAN changes.
Can WR677 support VPN access and industrial data communication?
Yes. WR677 supports WireGuard, OpenVPN and IPsec for VPN access, as well as Modbus TCP client/server and MQTT broker, publisher and gateway functions. Configure VPN routing and the required device data mapping for your application.
