Dual-SIM Failover and Cellular Connectivity

The WR245 supports dual SIM slots, automatically switching to a backup carrier when the primary connection drops. Combined with 4G LTE and 3G fallback, buses maintain uninterrupted connectivity across varying coverage zones.

GNSS Positioning

A builtin GNSS module provides precise vehicle location and time synchronization, enabling Automatic Vehicle Location (AVL) systems. Passengers can see live bus positions while dispatchers optimize routes based on realtime traffic data.

Remote Fleet Management

With the Wavetel RMS platform, operations teams can centrally monitor network status and device health across the entire fleet, and push firmware updates remotely without onsite visits.

VLAN and QoS

VLAN isolates passenger WiFi, payment systems, and fleet dispatch into separate virtual networks for security; QoS policies prioritize bandwidth for critical services, ensuring stable performance of payments, dispatch, and SOS alerts even under heavy network load.
