Can WR245 connect to Ethernet and serial devices?
Yes. WR245 has four Ethernet ports, separate RS232 and RS485 ports, and digital I/O, an analog input and a relay.
What cellular and Wi-Fi connections does WR245 support?
WR245 supports 4G LTE Cat 4 and 2.4 GHz Wi-Fi. Two SIM slots support automatic switching to a configured backup SIM.
How is WR245 powered?
Use the four-pin Molex DC connector or a compatible passive PoE supply. The PoE port powers the router; it does not power connected devices.
Can WR245 switch to cellular if Ethernet fails?
Yes. With WAN failover configured, WR245 can switch to cellular when Ethernet WAN fails. Active sessions may need to reconnect.
Which VPN and industrial protocols does WR245 support?
