Can WR143 connect to PLCs and serial devices?
Yes. WR143 has two Ethernet ports and one RS232 or RS485 serial port, depending on the model you choose.
Does WR143 support 5G?
WR143 uses 4G LTE Cat 4. For 5G RedCap, see WR153.
How is WR143 powered?
Use the two-pin DC terminal or a compatible passive PoE supply. The PoE port powers the router; it does not power connected devices.
Can WR143 switch to cellular if Ethernet fails?
Yes. With WAN failover configured, WR143 can switch to cellular when Ethernet WAN fails. Active sessions may need to reconnect.
Which VPN and industrial protocols does WR143 support?
